Thank you for this— He’s our first so this process was new for us. Definitely disappointed because we thought the program would be a great fit for him. His teacher constantly tells us that he is not challenged enough by the material, which our son echos. We also thought it would be a great fit socially and were looking forward to him being with kids with similar interests. But alas, onward and upward! [/quote]

I would appeal in this situation. I appealed successful for my child 2 yrs ago and am glad I didn’t give up after the initial rejection. DC is thriving. [/quote]

Thank you! This is really great to hear. I wasn’t sure if appeals ever made it through, but I definitely am planning on it. I did not educate myself enough on the application process and only submitted one additional work sample. I’m kicking myself for it now. Thank you for the hope and I’m glad your DC is doing so great!
