It seems off how she's laughing while talking about her kids living without her. She's either on serious medication or has not actually accepted the reality of the situation. I am not making fun of her. I've just never seen someone with such a serious diagnosis making a joke of it.[/quote]

I didn’t take it that way. I see it as her making lemonade out of lemons. Saying “there’s no way they can live without me” in a joking manner is a defense mechanism. I don’t think it’s making light of her situation. I think she’s obviously scared sh$tless and I commend her for sharing her journey. She obviously uses humor to cope and that’s her right. [/quote]
