Excuse me, but there is absolutely ZERO evidence or proof that this shooting was NOT perpetrated with a “legally owned” gun. For all we know it was committed by someone who purchased it legally, just as you presumably purchased yours legally. This shooting was done by someone exactly like YOU, in other words. They were allowed to buy a gun, filled out all the documents or whatever, had a background check done on them - and then still went out and massacred 4 people. With their legal gun. Just like you could do this afternoon, if you’re having a bad day and something pushes you over the edge.

But you’ll get no argument from me. Private citizens shouldn’t be allowed to own cars anyway. They’re killing the planet with pollution and the endless pavement sprawl that comes from giving people the means and opportunity to live far-removed from work, public transit, bike or walkability options. You don’t need to live in McLean and have a job on K st, made possible because you can commute in a car. Get rid of cars and people will make better choices about where they live.

If you think having a bad day is an excuse to "go wild," I am going to suggest that you are the one who isn't emotionally mature enough for existence in a civilized society, let alone gun ownership.
