I don't see a purpose. Republicans have never apologized a day in their existence. Parties don't apologize.

The problem is that the  swing voters just broke Republican.  Those are the ones we have to win back.

Why do we whine that both sides should have to apologize?  Why should we care if Republicans reach out to our voters?  Obviously they already did, sneakily, and it worked.  Who cares what seems fair?  This isn’t a slap fight.  This is politics.  Our latest beliefs don’t make us winners.  Getting votes makes us winners.  [/quote]
