Wanted this and expected this. Why should we admit we were wrong? Your line of thinking is very puzzling for a Trump voter.
So you wanted hundreds of thousands of unemployed people, a stock market correction and trade wars with our closest allies?
Yes. This shouldn't be hard to understand. Yes OF COURSE we wanted hundreds of thousands of cushy federal government jobs eliminated. These people have been working from home FOR FIVE YEARS. Yes of course we wanted a correction. We are the party of the middle class. We need cheap houses and cheap stocks to buy. We're not fatcat DC lobbyists trying to preserve high stock prices so we can sell and live off the proceeds now that the Dems are out of power. And yes of course we want trade wars. The U.S. is poised to win them. U.S. labor benefits from trade barriers more than from free trade and open borders. Republicans are happy, not sad. Democrats, now out of power AND losing political activism funding they used to pilfer from the taxpayers, are obviously not happy. Nor should they be. They will be out of power for at least the next 12 years.
And MAGA CHUDs wonder why we call them idiots when they loudly and proudly write stuff like this that makes it absolutely clear they have no idea what they're talking about and blindly bite at whatever shiny object Trump and his ilk dangle in front of them. They don't understand "working from home" is WORK. They don't understand that even if housing prices crashed by 30% they STILL couldn't afford to buy them (they were 30% cheaper only a few years ago, why didn't you buy then?!) and the ripple effects would be catastrophic. They DEFINITELY don't understand the first thing about trade wars as evidenced by the fact they think a drooling idiot President who doesn't even understand how tariffs work could win one. And the icing on the cake is accusing Democrats of "pilfering from the taxpayers" when they're literally watching the Republicans in power looting the country right in front of their faces while they're cheering it on. GOP voters are truly the dumbest people in the country. Even people who choose not to vote at least have the excuse of ignorance or apathy. Republican voters looked at the stupidest, most selfish, most malicious man in the country with DECADES worth of examples of his complete idiocy and decided that was their guy.
