Victorious and ascendant political parties don't tend to abandon themselves one month in. Of course Republicans don't regret their vote. Of course they aren't yearning for Kamala's leadership. Of course they won't "admit they were wrong" to back a winning candidate and popular policies. If the losing party, the Democrats, can't admit they were wrong to run on unpopular policies, then the winning party is even less likely to admit being wrong.
It is going to take months, maybe years everyone. They don’t regret it because the day to day impacts haven’t been felt.
This isn't how things work. Look at us Dems. We closed the schools and force-masked the kids, and now the kids have speech impediments and emotional problems. We propped up a senile guy and nominated someone who couldn't win a primary, and now no-one believes that we're "defenders of Democracy." We spent $200 billion on Zelensky, and he says half the money disappeared. Do we regret anything? Have we announced ANY changes to our unpopular policy platform? No. We are so reluctant to change that our new political strategy is hoping that the victorious Republicans don't like victory. How's that working out for us? We're sitting around INSISTING that Trump is losing ground, meanwhile his approval rate is getting BETTER compared to ours (technically because ours is falling faster than his, lol). Nothing we do is working. And it's all because we refuse to change. We believe ourselves to be holy. And holy people don't back down on trans folks or wars in Ukraine or Bidenomics. We will not change! The voters will! They will someday come to hate Trump like we do! It didn't happen by year 10 of the Trump era, but it might happen in time for his retirement in 2029!
Ignore the fake Dem trolls, folks! Nothing to see here.
