This woman with a massive LV bag in a shopping cart starts coming down the cramped aisle that I'm in and gives me a dirty look instead of saying "excuse me" as I try to pass her. She then kept blocking entire aisles, so I just kept avoiding her and going around her. On my way out, she sees me walking directly down the main aisle and she decides then is a good time for her to cross but she stops with her cart - mind you with just the LV bag still - and blocks the whole aisle again, incredibly strange. I stop and say excuse me to give her time to move, and she yells at me "watch where you're going" as I still just stand there, nearly two feet away from her .....
Hey OP. This reminds me of something that happened to me when I was in college. I went to a southern school but came from out west where my family owned a store in a popular resort town. So while at college I was at a party, and this heavy set girl kept walking past me and literally bumping me and knocking me backwards into a wall once, a plant another time. This happened like five or six times. At the end of the night, I asked my friend I was there with whether I was just imagining this or if this girl, whom she knew, was being purposely aggressive. Turns out it was on purpose, she had told my friend a few minutes earlier that over the last summer, she was vacationing with her family in my home town and had come in to shop in my family’s store. That we had spoken for a few minutes about how we were both enrolled at the same college, what a coincidence. Apparently she was furious that I didn’t recognize her at that party nine months later. I mean, we get many thousands of tourists through our store every summer and I speak with all of them so forgive me if I can’t recall your face at a different time and location nearly a year later. But this really struck a nerve with her for whatever reason. Moral of the story OP, people are weird. Like really weird. They feel entitled and important and won’t hesitate to get pushy and even slightly physically aggressive if they see something in you that triggers them.
