When your small business receives 300+ applications through Indeed, and 85% don't meet the requirements in your job posting, and clearly haven't even read your job posting but just clicked "submit," we are not responding to each[/quote] Colleges get thousands of applications (sometimes tens of thousands or even a hundred thousand for Ivies) from students, the vast majority of whom aren't qualified. In fact that's how the "top top" schools make themselves look so selective through "attract to reject" strategies by sending B average and up students info encouraging them to apply. They do reply to all of them.[/quote]
