If the economy didn't collapse when my groceries went up from 275/week to over 400, gas up, utilities bezerk, 40-year high inflation, then think it would take another black swan event like march 2020.
This is my thought too. If a global pandemic was but a blip in the economy (and made so many people crazy revenge spenders - that I will never understand) then I think we can survive this.
The next pandemic will be in a time of no support from the government. We won't have to wear masks though. I really think people want chaos and drama. They don't want safety, security and good health. They want to cry and watch people die from diseases and say it was God's plan. They want to feel deep sadness. They want to feel more deeply than they do. They want a tearjerker story to bring to church. They want the ability to.have mobs, be violent and die for causes. They are bored with work and safety. They don't like peace, health and prosperity. They are very, very bored and life has more meaning when there is a lot of drama and sides to choose. They want a creedo and a rebellion. Things are too good for the bored and sated.
