Exactly! I work for an IG. Ours did not get fired (yet). You can go to every single one of our semiannual reports to Congress to see all the results (cost savings to taxpayers, fraud arrests etc). We are doing our jobs. But we sometimes do them a little to well. Under the last Trump administration he almost fired my IG because we investigated one of his politicals who had engaged in fraud and we had proof. The person told us if we proceeded with our investigation, they were going to the White House. We continued. He did and Trump almost fired our IG. But he got distracted because COVID hit. So the poster that said his appointees are about to do some unethical and illegal stuff are spot on.

Heck most of the EOs issues violate elements of established laws. [/quote]
