While I agree with your views on Trump, it's pretty clear the crime wave a few years ago in DC and other major cities was largely due to policy failures on the left, not due due to Trump's policies.  Once could argue Trump amplified the craziness from the Left at that time, but that's about it.  [/quote]

Trump had little to no impact on DC crime during the first term. DCs crime spike in particular was driven by young people, many of whom were under 18. The spike coincided with Karl Racine thinking that DCs juvenile criminals should not be properly held accountable for their crimes and merely given a hug and required to participate in a circle as a consequence. He was DCs George Gascon or Chesa Boudin, and we know how that turned out. [/quote]
