The question is, why did she leave in the first place, after vowing in her campaign to not travel internationally? There is a particularly dangerous red flag warning for fire, and she leaves on a political junket to Ghana during that.[/quote]

There can be a dozen red flag warnings every year in LA. If your expectation is that the mayor will never travel during red flag warnings (which basically means they'll never be able to plan any trips because it's not as though you can predict red flag warnings weeks or months in advance), then no one will ever want to be mayor.[/quote]
