Can someone please point me to the underrated gems in VA for an average B student with a mainstream personality (sporty, social and not nerdy/artsy--in fact, prefers to avoid anything artsy/emo etc.)? I know about VCU/Mary Washington (not interested in these). Looking for other schools. Interested in sports science, nursing, psychology etc. but also undecided.
Lynchburg. Great town. Gives good merit. And very good for health professions. Very sporty campus. Not only "athletes" but you can rent SUPs and kayaks at the student union. Small classes. Nursing program uniquely has a cadaver lab. Most don't.
