I think that she was pushed by her parents and rebelled against it all after she won a few slams. Becoming a legal adult gave her the opportunity to decide for herself, and she often seems like she does not want to play. She reminds me of Andre Agassi who said that he got to the point where he hated tennis. She also admits to getting down on herself. This summer she thanked a fan at Wimbledon for cheering her name because she was losing ,motivation during the match. I honestly feel like she was subjected to abusive training standards. It's no wonder that she acts like she would rather be anywhere else but at a tennis match.  All of these underage tennis players should have an outside monitor to advocate for their mental health and identify abuse.  I feel like we see the same cycle with most young players where they become adults and realize that their parents and coaches have been living off them. [/quote]
