Definitely didn’t leave early-we were one of the last to leave actually. It definitely wasn’t a “forgot” thing as after the birthday child blew out the candles they eventually put the plastic cover back on the cake. So that was a conscious decision-didn’t just forget the cake was there. The whole thing was just bizarre. It’s fine if you don’t have cake but then why have a cake just to have the kid blow out the candles and disappoint all the other kids? [/quote]

Ok that is just weird. They must be one of those no sugar parents.
