She’s interesting and a lot of fun but she really wanted to insert herself into my life and the kids’ lives quickly. Like she asked if my 4 year old could have a sleep over with her. It might have been out of a good place offering me a night off, but I definitely didn’t know her well enough for that. For instance I hadn’t met her husband. My husband especially really questioned her judgement. I was trying to figure out how to get some distance, but she moved far away. I wish her the best but also am glad for the naturally created space. [/quote]
