I know someone who went to MW and she's now a bigshot journalist and one of the most genuine, caring people out there. Great school, too. You can have a great life/career after going to any public school in Virginia. On the flip side, I know plenty of UVA/W&M types who couldn't hold down a job after graduating. So much of it comes down to the person themselves vs. the school. [/quote]

Nah. Had a girlfriend at UVA (Echols Scholar, lived in Monroe Hill), ended up as a college instructor making $60k per year. UVA really did nothing for her that she couldn't have gotten at GMU. Had a buddy at W&M who should have been a bigshot lawyer/doctor/politician but now hasn't worked for 20 years (and it's not cause he's wealthy). These stories are legion.[/quote]
