Everyone should investigate that this is in fact true.  I thought it would be true when I went to college, but it was not.  Much more homogenity than I expected.[/quote]

There are so many different groups at UVA due to size. My kid hasn’t found their place yet but is involved in a club sport that is super socials, an arts group that has parties as well as rehearsals, and their roommate is big into the Chi Alpha scene which seems huge. Maybe the Greek scene seems dominant to some.[/quote]

Yes I am aware of its size. I stand by what I said. The kids are still pretty homogenous.

My point was that they are experiencing several different groups; that not all kids are the same there. Not super weird that they are still exploring. It’s first semester. Seems like you fit in a group — judgy![/quote]
