Why Jewish studies? Just for Jewish people to take? A no Jewish student who has hardly any space in their schedule is not going to take Jewish studies. Same can be said for courses that are studying another group of people.
It's being offered at a school that has a high number of that group, so if it is Blair or was it WJ?
This particular class is offered at Blair, but it might be replicated at other high schools with enough interested students. As for who will take it, I'm assuming it's a lot of second semester seniors looking for something interesting but not concerned about GPA anymore.
Doubt there are that many interested students. It sounds so boring tbh.
Why just because you aren’t interested? There are plenty of student interest in history, culture, international studies, etc.
Specifically in Jewish studies? Doubt it.
If not enough students are interested, the course won't be offered. This is true of all electives.
How many is enough: two, four, six, eight who do you appreciate? Give readers an idea of the level of interest.
There is a minimum number for most classes. That is also weighed against number for other elective requested. This is why kids are required to select alternatives.
