People saw him on the debate and heard him on podcasts and he impressed them by being well spoken. People who don't follow politics closely don't realize how confidently and calmly he spews lies or that he's a chameleon. [/quote]

And yet, Trump won the election. If Trump can win the election by sounding like a senile buffoon, it's not hard to see how people could be swayed by a candidate who on Trump's side but is able to formulate intelligent sentences.[/quote]
