That's objectively untrue though. Crime was relatively low in the 2010s. After covid eroded social norms and progressives became convinced that prosecuting crime is racist, violence exploded. Matthew Graves has gotten better but he only prosecuted 33% of crimes in 2023. Crime and anti-social behavior are worse now than under Trump.[/quote]

Trump had increasing murders in DC EVERY YEAR he was President and his appointees ran the USAO:
2017: 116
2018: 160
2019: 164
2020: 200

I am and here’s why: I don’t want to see this group steel any more $$$ or patronize any more citizens. The Democrats of this city have disenfranchised the people of this city by registering as Independent in order to capture all the At Large seats.  That’s led to crazy polices which have again made us a national laughing stock. So, oh well.[/quote]
