Certainly he must have had some sort of snack -- preferably a fairly substantial one -- between eating lunch and 9 pm?[/quote] OP here.  yes, but I already drive 50 minutes on the highway to get to the training so i had no desire to drive another 10 miles or so away from the training spot.  It's a dark country like road (I live in the city so others may not think it's as country) when there was a subway right there on the road that takes me to the training.  Again, not making excuses just explaining my thought process when it all went down.

He had a regular club soccer game that day, we got home from that at 6:30pm.  He refilled his water bottle and grabbed a couple snacks (grapes, banana and a granola bar) and we headed out to his training.

Has anyone noticed I haven't used "LOL" in my last few posts?  It's killing me but I think I'm a better poster because of it!

Oh and I absolutley hate him eating dinner at 9pm after his training.  But I also dont want him eating dinner on the way right before.  I picked what I thought was the best option out of two crappy ones. [/quote]
