Do you not have daughters? Sisters? Nieces? What will you say to them when they need a D&C because they had a miscarriage and aren't able to get one and go into septic shock? What happens when their fallopian tube ruptures due to an ectopic pregnancy and they start bleeding internally? Does nobody think about the ramifications of their actions until it affects them individually? Southern states are trying to ban abortions in all instances - rape, incest, health of the mother. Why would you let your daughters, yourself, your nieces, your sisters, go through such pain? HOW IS THIS NOT IMPORTANT TO YOU!?! Why is your money more important than your health?
A D&C is not abortion. Managing an etopic pregnancy is not abortion. Abortion isn't healthcare, despite the new spin.
Tell me you know nothing about women’s health without…wait, you did tell me! It’s not a new spin. Heretofore, care for all facets of women’s reproductive health wasn’t up for policing by lay folks. Simply because you are now only hearing about it doesn’t mean it’s “new.”
Calling people who disagree with you stupid and ignorant will never accomplish what you want it to accomplish. We will never say, yes you are right, I am so dumb thank you for setting me straight. I stand by the post you are responding to by the way.
You simply cannot impose your will on women and force them to give birth. You can try and succeed in some cases, but you can't take away a fundamental right. This has always been the case. Abortion has been illegal before and it just drives it into the back alley. Abortion rights have actually increased after Roe was overturned. This battle will rage on until the laws reflect that reality.
Are you a prophet? Who knows what is going to happen...I don't know, you don't know. Just because you want something really strongly doesn't mean it is inevitable.
