No way I would want to send a kid to NYC now so hate away. [/quote] Nobody understands this unless they experience it firsthand. My liberal kid who was raised in MoCo is thriving in Tuscaloosa. The student body is happier. Everyone seems to hit the gym as well as the library daily. Having visited many times, I can report that people in shops, restaurants, etc. are noticeably friendlier. My kid won’t stay down there after graduation, but I’m glad they left our blue bubble to experience living and working with people with a variety of viewpoints. ^^^ That’s a critical life skill ICYMI.
