Then back on the road by around 1. We can drive another 2 hours until around 3 and have made it 8 hours worth of driving, sometimes we will push it to 9 but that's it. By then we can check into a hotel.

I had a parent who hated to stop so I look up every rest stop and announce when we are 15 minutes a way if anyone wants to stop just in case. It only takes 5-10 minutes to hop out, stretch, go the bathroom and get back on the road. It's cruel not to allow that. [/quote]
