All politicians occasionally tell small lies to cover their asses.  Republicans on the other hand not only lie habitually, they routinely go out of their way to make the most hateful and vicious kinds of lies, with Trump, MTG, Jim Jordan and others right at the top of that pile.

Also, if "Democrats are weaponizing the government with lawfare and spying against their political opponents" then why aren't MTG, Jordan and so many others being indicted, convicted, sitting in courtrooms?   It's because unlike Trump they mostly just lie.  Trump commits crimes AND lies.  The whole narrative of "weaponizing the government against political opponents" is just another one of their hateful, vicious lies, meant to sow distrust in basic law and order.[/quote]
