No one has to tolerate health code violations dumbo. It is not a "personal desire" -- it's the law and it exists for good reasons. If you don't like the law you are welcome to go try and get them changed but until then your dog doesn't belong in the grocery store and it's not intolerant complain loudly and often until you STOP bringing it there. In many places in Europe, there is a strong sense of social obligation and dog owners wouldn't behave thoughtlessly (and if they did, would be confronted directly). The problem isn't all dog owners, it's the ones who don't respect other people's needs.[/quote]
