This is not true.

Setting aside the expense (I haven't compared it to other programs, so I can't say whether Alexandra is "expensive" or just on par with other clubs) ...

Alexandria futsal practices do not conflict with Alexandria outdoor soccer practice; the futsal program is run by the same team and primarily in the off-season -- there are no schedule conflicts for Alexandria soccer players. (Of course, if your soccer player plays for another club, there might be schedule conflicts but that could be the case with any futsal program.)

As for the competition, it may depend on which team your player is on. At the higher-level teams, my kid has occasionally played against another Alexandria team, but also played against plenty of local competition, Virginia state tournaments, and regional tournaments (e.g. Northeast Regional in AC).

There are other good futsal programs in our area that may be just as good as Alexandria's programs. But I've seen nothing that would support the argument that any other futsal program is [i]better[/i] than Alexandria's. [/quote]
