If you are a 5'7" woman who needs to lose weight? Will I be starving? I work out every day and take around 18,000 steps per day. I cannot seem to lose weight and realize I just need to stop eating so much. Not sure what is realistic though.
Don’t work out if you want to feel satisfied with 1500 calories - just walk and lift weights. Intense cardio drives hunger hormones which makes it very hard to stick to a lower calorie diet. Best way to feel good at a lower calorie level is to eat lots of fiber. Beans/legumes, vegetables, fruits, whole grains nuts and seeds.
+1 on stopping the intense cardio- it drives hunger and you don’t need that. Weight lifting and walking will do wonders + up your protein intake. You may not lose too many if any pounds on the scale, but you will look better and your clothes will fit better!
Let me understand- you’re recommending less exercise because it make a person hungry . Yeah that sounds healthy. Definitely not an eating disorder…
If a person is trying to lose weight, it’s much easier to achieve that through diet than cardio for a variety reasons including increased hunger. Cardio is great for lots of reasons but weight loss isn’t one of them. Nothing disordered at all.
