He did later admit that didn't learn much in school until 3rd grade though. [/quote] My kid's teachers reported my kid sort of did her own thing. She would add extra words to the spelling list and write them out at the end of her spelling tests. She would write extra at school and at home on topics of interest to her and turn them in (some teachers loved this and some did not). We sent in books and workbooks. She did not complain of boredom.[/quote]
