Yes except it’s 4 months since MCPS changed teachers at the semester.  I find the traditional format stressful but I appreciate it.  Seeing how far my child has to walk between classes is helpful when they tell me that they struggle to get there on time (as I did!).  I like seeing the teachers even for just a few minutes to get a sense of them, and I appreciate each teacher explaining how they expect assignments to be turned in, since they are all different. But for my freshman, all of her teachers but 1 change 2nd semester and she has another new class.  So it's stupid to do only one back to school night.

So why not have each teacher upload a syllabus, their rules, grading, teaching style and a little video about the class, etc...  Then you can watch that from the comfort of your own home in your pajamas and the teachers don't have to work terrible hours [/quote]
