No, my intention was not to suggest that everyone should stop shaving. By “get with the times,” I meant that people should (at least try to) stop judging people’s choices about how they present themselves. Sorry you misunderstood.[/quote]

Do you not understand the difference between doing something because YOU want to do it, and expecting everyone else to do exactly as YOU do because YOU want them to?

I’m plenty liberated and answering OPs question. I’m just smarter than you and have figured out that work is not a place for self expression. I also don’t care that a McDonalds manager doesn’t feel the need to shave. But if you want to be successful, for now at least, that is the norm. But I get that you don’t know that.[/quote]
