So he took a full IB diploma and AP classes? How is that possible? I sense a troll. Bye.
New post. PP is not a troll. I can concur. My kid completed (and earned) the full IB Diploma and took AP courses as well. Kid is a first year at UVA and Echols.
What's an Echols?
Echols Scholars are a program within the College of Arts & Sciences. UVa is believed to offer Echols to academically strong applicants who they think might jump to a different university (Ivy or similar). There is no guaranteed money from Exhols, but they do get preferential treatment in some areas. UVa E School analog is Rodman Scholars, which has fewer practical benefits.
