Is this for rising U11? I heard there were twice that many boys at Loudoun tryouts for that age group. Other tryouts we’ve been to have had 120 boys show up. A tryout with “only” 70 would be jice. [/quote]

BS! I know several players on both my son and daughter's teams that had outside players accept top team (A and B) spots! It happens all the time. LS needs the talent since they can't develop it themselves outside of the U-little Academy. [/quote]

Once again, you have no idea what you're talking about. They 100% care who is on their top teams and have spots slotted to be filled by specific kids before tryouts. All the lower teams? Sure, they'd take outside money over promoting from within. Not the ECNL or pre-ecnl teams, though.  Myself and others we know got literal emails inviting us to ID in March prior to tryouts. Not a single player was offered a spot on the top team for our age and the one above and below that didn't ID. I know this people people talk lol.  If someone tells you they just showed up for a tryout at basically any program and made their top team without ever being seen by the coach prior, they're lying to you. All the clubs reach out to potential players ahead of time and it's completely normal for parents to each out to clubs to ID over winter to see the kid in a practice environment prior to tryouts.[/quote]
