My kids always have a s can before bed. Often an apple or rice cake and some milk.
I have no issue with promoting healthful late-night snacks. Only with saying skim milk is better than whole
Yeah, but you're only argument was that the fat in whole milk doesn't cause tooth decay... which, you know... duh?
There are plenty so good arguments for whole milk over skim: especially for kids and teens. Vitamins absorb better with whole milk, it slows insulin release, and it satiates.
Yeah well, our doctor said skim was great. Are you a doctor?
By great, he is just glad your kid is drinking milk and not soda. But it isn’t better than whole milk. I don’t know anyone under 50 that drinks skim milk, it’s very 1990s idea of healthy.
Well since you don’t know anyone under 50 who drinks skim milk I guess it’s true. 🫥 If you’re not diabetic I don’t think you have to worry about insulin releases. And skim milk is still popular and is a preference of many people of all ages. I personally hate whole milk, I prefer skim milk, it’s not so thick.
At any rate it seems like a REALLY weird thing to be upset that someone else's doctor is supportive of.
