you kind of have a point on immigration, but it's really more just the reality that the Dems are the big tent party—immigrants, minorities, working-class, educated, women, etc. all have a friendly home in the Democratic party. Environmentalists vs. unions is another conundrum, but the fact that the GOP will NEVER lift a finger to help any of them keeps them all in place.[/quote]
I think what they're getting at is it used to be a more progressive thing to think the US politics need to get over Russia and stop being so militaristic about the whole ordeal, but now Republicans are in bed with Putin[/quote]
