My husband and I have a premium membership to OneLife, which gives us access to many nice clubs in the region, unlimited classes, parking, towel service, monthly InBody scans, and swimming at some clubs. Family membership is $110/month ($59 for the first family member and $49 for the second - kids are an additional $39 but they're too busy with sports to use it).
This is what I have, but truthfully only go to the crystal city location since the pool is totally open at certain times for long swim workouts (like 1-1.5 hours). I’ve used the clubs out further to take a shower or hang in the hot tub after a long day on a bike, but it’s overall not worth it. I need to revisit my strategy here.
I frequent 4 locations for different reasons on different days. One is closer to my work, another is closer to my home, and another is next to my kid’s sport. The flexibility increases my chances of squeezing in a workout whenever I can. I like the classes better at some locations and the amenities better at others. I go 4x/week for an hour - either a class or weights. I like to walk on off-days so I skip the cardio. If I want to really pamper myself and I’m not rushing, I stay for a sauna or steam. I’m definitely getting my money’s worth.
