The legal actions - to me - merely reflect a single bank trying to recover on a defaulted debt obligation.  Everything else is not unusual - a turn in fortune (probably due to the NY real estate market), a family trying to protect assets, kids living over their head, it eventually catching up with them.  The influencer thing certainly made it severely difficult to pivot in lifestyle without irrevocable consequences.  Maybe they did cut back and their friends abandoned them.  I don't know. 
I know nothing about a fraudulent deal with friends/investors, and I don't see any factual evidence of that (e.g., lawsuits), but who knows.   Maybe I've seen so much that is far worse that I'm not impacted by what might seem to be egregious to others.  Certainly, there are things I'm not aware of.  The influencer stuff - that's all just smoke and mirrors to me.  Always.

Also, I know that things weren't always great for Mike.  He was self-made and his fortunes and psyche suffered through some down times.  I knew a good friend who helped Mike when he was down decades ago.  Genetics? I wish Brandon had someone to intervene. [/quote]
