My wife's best friend was a nerdy (but hot) goodie two shoes her whole life. She and her DH divorced amicably and she was quite depressed at her stage at 33. She had slept with 7 men at that point. She slept with, I kid you not, at least 2 dozen men in the first year of her singledom. I'll be honest. I thought less of her for it. And she grew very upset with herself. I think she thoiught it would bring something it didn't.
Why would you think less of her PP?
People never respect women who sleep around for validation. Promiscuous women are rarely confident and independent, usually they are needy and insecure.
And what about men who do the same?
As a man I feel we (us promiscuous ones) do it out of a strong and unmet sexual drive. Pure horninese and hormones. Less so for validation The slutty women I have come across do fit this comment: they are needy and insecure.
Do you think women don't have hormones? Do you think women never feel horny? Did you ever think that maybe a divorced women spent the last couple years in a sexless, ungratifying marriage and may have some strong and unmet sexual drive to release? You're saying men never sleep with women for validation? To up their ego aka self confidence aka insecurity? If a man is promiscuous because of sexual drive and hormones, why can't he be in a long term relationship with someone sexually compatible, why the need to sleep with a lot of women to meet that need? It's beyond hormones, it's validation, ego driven, confidence boosting validation. But a woman doing the same is "needy and insecure". She should only have her sexual needs, horniness, and hormones met in a long term relationship lest she be a slut. FFS
Males desire much more variety in sexual partners than women. This is not just my opinion, it has been studied. Of course there are some women who desire a lot of sexual variety but they are in the minority. You keep trying to make equivalences between male and female sexual behavior when they are inherently different. Everyone knows this.
You are clearly only considering youth not middle age.
