OP here. I was very attractive in my twenties. I am well maintained and probably look better than most women in our mid- late forties. However, there is no way I look better now than when I was 25. I used to walk into clubs and get guys hitting on me constantly daily on the street, elevator, grocery store. That does not happen to me now.[/quote]

PP here.  What I meant was that I stack up better against my fellow 40 somethings than I did against my fellow 20 somethings, I think.  I suspect it’s because apparently (according to people guessing my age over the years) I have looked 35 for the past 20 years.  Not fun when I was younger, but now that I am older I feel I have finally aged into my looks, so to speak.  [/quote]

I may probably be the same relative to my age group. I lived in NYC in my twenties. I was attractive in NYC. Now I doubt I would be considered attractive in NYC in my mid forties. I do look good relative to other women in the DMV in my mid forties. [/quote]
