[/quote] I'm the one who now cuts her own hair -- I think I was paying close to $300 (especially if you count tip) at the Bethesda salon I went to -- I got a cut and color and maybe something like toner/special conditioning treatment. I didn't get anything like extensions, or highlights on top of the color, and I wasn't going to the most expensive stylist at the salon (I know that the owner charged more). I can see it easily hitting $400 if you are getting extensions or multiple layers of color treatment or keratin or something (although I think they won't do keratin at the same time as color, if I remember correctly).
