It is against the law to have firearms or ammunition there.
But the vape cartridge was against the law in Russia. Why respect one country’s laws but not another?
Oh are we taking Russia’s word for it?
Griner herself admitted she had marijuana on her.
She had a CBD vape pen.
No it was regular THC cannabis not CBD. Get the basic facts straight maybe?
It was doctor prescribed cannabis oil. https://www.npr.org/2022/07/15/1111731127/brittney-griner-cannabis-russia-trial Maybe stop trying to paint her as some kind of junkie.
It’s hard to argue with stupid. Please try to follow along: - pp said “CBD vape pen” in an attempt to minimize/excuse her stupid actions - I corrected that inaccuracy with the fact that the oil was plain old THC that gets you high not just CBD - then you confirmed my posted facts but don’t seem to comprehend what you are talking about I fully support cannabis legalization and use but to pretend that she was carrying anything less than a full potency cape cart is disingenuous at best. I have been a user for decades so this isn’t about “painting her as a junkie” wtf.
This whole thread is trying to make Griner seem unworthy of the help she recieved. You tried to paint her as a unworthy because she had "drugs" on her. I had originally read that it was a cbd pen for pain management. I corrected it upon learning it was regular cannabis, but I think the important thing here is that it was medicine prescribed by a doctor. People talk about her case dismissively as though she's some kind of degenerate who deserved what she got, when we're talking about someone who was held in a Russian prison, charged with drug smuggling, because of some medicine her doctor prescribed. To compare that to a couple of yahoos getting into trouble for illegally carrying a bunch of bullets in their luggage is kind of ridiculous. The real issue here is you all resent a Black woman being treated like she matters.
I’m sure Griner never touch the stuff until she received that prescription.
