Do most colleges have laundry services (wash and fold) these days? Do your kids use it?
You're kidding, right? Laundry is part of the executive functioning for adulthood that college should in theory be fostering. If DC doesn't have a disability, then heck no on outsourcing the laundry. Geez.
I have done at most 10-20 loads of laundry since Junior year of college. I do know how to do it. Single mom growing up and I did the laundry for the house from about 12-13 until 17. And I did do laundry freshman and Soph years but starting junior year I took to fluff and fold. Not all that expensive. And I never did laundry again except in emergencies. So I don't think it is all that important. DC is in college and the weekly laundry service was like 600 for the year. Laundry pick up and drop off every week.
Great deal…
