I would think most prescriptions are dispensed in a similar fashion.[/quote] Once again no, MOST drugs are not prescribed in a similar fashion. Heart meds, cholesterol meds, diabetes meds, to name a few, rely on exam, test results and bloodwork before they are prescribed. There are some, like in your example, that are prescribed based on pt report. But by far the majority are not. [/quote]
