Is it truly consensual as in something that the girls would want for themselves even if they had never been exposed to porn? Or porn-addled guys asking for it (or just doing it without asking) and then she comes to see it as an expectation/a normal thing?

No that's not the girls' "currency." Currency makes it sound like all girls always are in control of what they give or are asked to give. Oral sex is table stakes for some of these girls if they want to be involved with someone in some circles.

Fair. It is also fair that the double standards, the expectations . . .on girls is MUCH MORE pronounced than it is for boys. I know you know this. And that pressure sometimes wins. You chalking that up to "grow a spine" is repulsive and only part of htat equation. Teach your boys not to put so much pressure, not to expect 17 yos to sex it up like porn stars . . . for a start.
