Who better to help someone release themselves from the burden of religion than someone who has already found their way out?

Bronze-age myths still have incalculable negative effects on society.  In geopolitics in the USA (women's rights), in the middle east, Bosnia, The Sudan, India, the list goes on and on.  Not to mention the individual religions and cults that take over people's lives and money and divide families.

You're correct, being an Atheist does not make you "free from religion".  If it did the world would be 100X a better place.  Once that happens, then we won't post in a religion forum, because there will be no need to.[/quote]

Atheists posting here trying to “free” religious people from their faith.

So Atheists are proselytizing in this forum. They are trying to convert people from religion to atheism. Thus, the steady barrage of fake posts.

The posts are about children losing their faith and not wanting to attend church, adults losing faith, etc, and immediately flooded with Atheists proclaiming how fabulous it is to live a life free of religion.

I see Atheists mostly attacking Catholics and Evangelicals. They must think those religions are the most harmful. They don’t attack Judaism or Islam.

If you see a post about a Christian losing faith, it’s an Atheist trying to free you from religion with a made up post. They almost never provide any specific details, answer any questions about their situation (because it’s fake) and often never post again after the first post that starts the thread.

I don’t ever see Atheists attacking Jewish religious people or Muslims that practice Islam. They seem to only want to “free” Christians. [/quote]
