This is nonsense. He can toss off a text in a few moments. Do you think that the time he's spending texting is somehow preventing him from banging his date? Of course he's having sex with these other women. And he's so bold and arrogant he's telling OP about the dates. Do you actually believe he ever meant to keep the "promise" OP said he made that he wouldn't have sex with other women during their "break"? You sweet summer child. How naive.
