Our date is 2/16/2024 -- so presumably right before the school sent it off to the central committee.  First quarter seems odd -- how did they even know then that your child would either be in pool or parent referred (unless due to a teacher absence / maternity leave, they were trying to rate every child in that teacher's class ahead of time)?[/quote]

Exactly it makes me doubt the entire process of teacher's inputs. I'm not sure how any teacher would be able to analyse the child's traits only by knowing them in first quarter given my kids class strength of 32 kids . I could see many times the teachers have given my DD 3 's in Progress reports in the first quarter  stating the same reason that they need time to decide whether they perform well or this year the teacher herself is pretty new to FCPS so he has always  been in training sessions in the first quarter with substitutes assigned to the class most of the time . so how come she would have enought time to evaluate the kid ?.Both are contradicting .[/quote]
