Rural college does not automatically = Williams. In fact the Top SLACs are the exception in terms of the profile of the average small, rural college.[/quote] I made no claim that the college I attended was "Williams" it is probably a college which you would consider not worthy, but it was absolutely the right choice for me. I wanted to get away from urban life, and since I was first gen (white, middle class) college student, having actual mature professors to help guide me was a must. Earned a graduate from UNC Chapel Hill, and scored just as well, if not better, than many of my cohort from higher ranked regional universities and high status national universities. [/quote]
