I don’t understand why anyone thinks a partisan swing would be useful here. Cities in the “red” states are just as bad or much worse.
This has everything to do with leadership. Cities in Red States are also Democrat-controlled. See Austin Texas, which has become a junior member of the Doom Loop. You're attempting to paint over the Democrat label and manipulate narratives. Just look at the cities that have become disasters in the US; NY, SF, DC, LA, Baltimore, Portland, Seattle, Philly. What do they have in common? And yet, you DC Libs want to argue against making changes! If these cities were all businesses, you'd say you must change management. But because you're Jack Dawson holding onto a floating board in the Atlantic, you cannot swallow the bitter pill that voting Red and letting change take place would crush your pride for the sake of improving people's lives. Sadly, those that are most greatly harmed by what is happening, are also unable to look in the mirror, that's why the easy saying is- "You voted for it." Yes, it's cold, but true. Just look at how Giuliani cleaned up NYC with broken windows policing and stop and frisk. That's your evidence. Until then, DC Liberals complaints are to themselves.
